Hope and a Future

Wednesday, August 13, 2025

Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Today’s Scripture Lesson

When life feels uncertain, Jeremiah 29:11 is a beacon of hope. God assures us that He has good plans for us — plans that give us a future filled with hope, not harm.

This promise was spoken to people in exile, reminding them that even in difficult seasons, God’s purposes are at work. He sees beyond your current circumstances and is weaving a story of redemption.

Hold on to this truth: God’s intentions for you are good. He invites you to trust His timing and rest in His promises, knowing He guides your path toward a hopeful future.

How to Apply This Scripture Passage to Your Life

Trust His Plan: Surrender your dreams and worries, believing that God’s plans are better than your own.

Cling to Hope: Let God’s promise of a hopeful future encourage you during hard times.

Stay Faithful: Continue to seek Him and obey, even when the outcome isn’t clear yet.

A Prayer for Today

Lord, thank You for having good plans for me. Help me trust Your purposes, cling to hope, and remain faithful. Grant me patience as I wait for Your timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
