“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” – John 10:10 (NIV)
Today’s Scripture Lesson
In this powerful verse, Jesus contrasts two forces at work in our lives: the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and Jesus, who offers us abundant life.
The thief refers to Satan and anything that pulls us away from God—sin, fear, lies, and distractions. His goal is to rob us of our peace, joy, and purpose, keeping us spiritually lost and broken. But Jesus came to rescue us from the enemy’s grip and lead us into true, abundant life.
This abundant life is not just about material blessings or an easy journey. It is a life filled with purpose, peace, and joy in Christ, no matter the circumstances. It’s a life where we walk in relationship with Jesus, experience His love, and grow in His grace. It’s the kind of life that is eternal—starting now and lasting forever.
If you’ve been feeling empty, restless, or weighed down by life’s struggles, Jesus invites you to come to Him. He alone can satisfy the deepest longings of your heart. His life is abundant, full, and everlasting.

- Live with Purpose: Walk in the abundant life Jesus offers by embracing His love, serving others, and living for His glory.
